Bhor Saidan, Kurukshetra

Bhor Saidan is a tiny village located in Pehowa Block of Kurukshetra district, at about 13 km to the west of Thanesar towards Pehowa. It is home to the Bhairava Tank. Mythology has it that it was here that Bhairava was treacherously betrayed and murdered by Arjun. Bhuri was the son of Somadatta, King of Vaishali, and the village, situated on an ancient mound, is named after him.
