Metro services in Kolkata will run on a reduced schedule on Tuesday, March 3, due to Holi. According to Metro Railway, Kolkata, fewer trains will operate on all corridors compared to a normal weekday. However, the timings of the last trains on all lines will remain the same.

Kolkata Blue Line Metro
On the Blue Line between Dakshineswar and Shahid Khudiram, only 60 services will run, with 30 trains in each direction, instead of the usual 272. The first trains from Noapara to Shahid Khudiram and from Shahid Khudiram to Dakshineswar will start at 2.30 pm instead of the regular morning time around 6.50 am. The first train from Dakshineswar to Shahid Khudiram will also leave at 2.30 pm instead of 6.55 am. Additionally, the 9.38 pm service from Dakshineswar to Mahanayak Uttam Kumar will not run that day.
Kolkata Green Line Metro
On the Green Line from Howrah Maidan to Salt Lake Sector V, 45 services will operate, much lower than the usual 228. The first train from Howrah Maidan will leave at 3 pm instead of 6.45 am, while the first train in the opposite direction will depart at 3.02 pm instead of 6.39 am.
Other Metro Lines in Kolkata
The Yellow Line between Noapara and Jai Hind Bimanbandar will have 44 services instead of 120. The first train from Noapara will leave at 2.38 pm instead of 7.18 am, and the first return service will start at 3 pm instead of 7.40 am. On the Purple Line from Joka to Majerhat, 38 services will run instead of 84. The first trains will begin around 2.40 pm and 3.04 pm. The Orange Line between Kavi Subhash and Beleghata will operate 28 services instead of 62, with first trains starting between 2.30 pm and 3 pm.
