On the occasion of Holi, Namo Bharat and Meerut Metro services will run for limited hours on March 4. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) announced on Monday that both services will operate only from 5 pm to 10 pm on the festival day.

Namo Bharat & Meerut Metro Trains
According to NCRTC, metro and Namo Bharat trains will not run during the morning and afternoon on Holi. Services will stay suspended for most of the day and will restart in the evening to help people who need to travel for important or urgent work. This special timing has been arranged keeping in mind the Holi celebrations, as many people take part in the festivities during the first half of the day.
Change in Metro Timings for Holi
The corporation also clarified that this change is only for Holi. On all other days, including Sundays, both Namo Bharat and Meerut Metro will operate as usual. Normally, the services run daily from 6 am to 10 pm. The same schedule is followed throughout the week to make travel easy and convenient for regular commuters.
Namo Bharat & Meerut Metro to Connect Important Areas
Namo Bharat and Meerut Metro connect important areas in the National Capital Region (NCR), including Meerut. These services are designed to offer faster, smoother, and more comfortable travel for people moving within the region. They help reduce travel time and provide a reliable option for daily passengers.
By adjusting the schedule on Holi, NCRTC aims to respect the festival while also ensuring essential travel needs are met in the evening. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys for March 4 accordingly and to keep the special operating hours in mind.
