The Ministry of Railways has changed the timetable of four Vande Bharat Express trains operated by the South Western Railway (SWR) zone. These semi-high-speed trains are part of India's modern railway network. As of January 31, 2026, a total of 164 Vande Bharat Express services are running across the country.
The revised schedules for the four trains will take effect from March 15, 2026.
List of Vande Bharat Trains with Changed Timings
The trains affected by the new timetable include Train No. 20703 Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express, Train No. 20704 Yesvantpur-Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express, Train No. 22231 Kalaburagi-SMVT Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, and Train No. 22232 SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Vande Bharat Express. The changes mainly involve updated arrival timings at certain stations.
Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express
The 20703 Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express was flagged off on September 24, 2023, and began commercial operations the next day. It runs every day except Friday. Under the new schedule, its arrival time at Hindupur railway station has been changed. The train will now arrive at the station at 15:55, instead of 15:48.
Yesvantpur-Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express
Similarly, the 20704 Yesvantpur-Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express, introduced on September 24, 2023, and started regular service on September 25, runs daily except Friday. The arrival time at Hindupur railway station has been revised. It will now arrive at 12:17, replacing the earlier timing of 12:08.
Kalaburagi-SMVT Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express
Another train with revised timings is the 22231 Kalaburagi-SMVT Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, which operates daily except Friday. The train travels 550 km in about 8 hours and 45 minutes. Its arrival time at Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam station has been changed to 11:13 from 11:00. At Yelahanka station, it will now arrive at 12:58, instead of 12:28 earlier.
Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Vande Bharat Express
The 22232 SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Vande Bharat Express runs every day except Thursday. Its arrival time at Yelahanka station has been slightly changed to 15:09 from 15:05. At Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam, the new arrival time will be 16:45, replacing the earlier 16:23. These changes aim to improve train operations and scheduling.
