The Millennium Indraprastha Park is one of the places where you can enjoy yourselves with your loved ones. The park is located in the Outer Ring Road in East Delhi. It was built by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and was opened in 2004.
The park is divided into different zones, which are the Smriti Van, Fragrant Garden, Bougainvillea Garden, Topiary Garden and the Foliage Garden. There is also a World Peace Stupa inside the park which was opened in 2007 by some monks, nuns, the Dalai Lama and the Lt. Governor of India.
The Indraprastha Park is known for its greenery and the fresh and soothing environment. It has an amphitheatre, food court, water cascade and landscapes that would prompt you to stay back for a while and relax. The Humayun's Tomb is a nearby attraction which can be clearly seen from the park. The park is open till 8.30 pm to its visitors.
