Lord Anjaneya Temple, Nagore

Lord Anjaneya Temple, situated in the temple town of Nagore is a very famous temple all across the state as the deity is considered to be the Goddess of Health. The locals do have a belief that the idol has a special power of its own and the temple is a much decorated one.

The idol is moulded out of a single rock and is 32 ft long. The temple is considered as a landmark for all the bus services and the private cars that come from Chennai to this place in Nagore.

The administration of the temple is very tough in nature as they don’t allow any kind of mischievous activities to take place in this place. But they have all the arrangements for the pilgrims, and they look into every detail and every minute problem that they face. There are mainly two festivals that take place in the temple premises every year.
