Parks In Itanagar, Itanagar

Arunachal Pradesh has diversified climatic conditions which has lead to the growth of innumerable plant species. These tropical and subtropical evergreen forests provide shelter to a variety of carnivores and herbivores. Polo Park is famous for a small botanical garden. It is perched on a ridge at Naharlagun, 10 km from Itanagar. Being situated in the foothills of the Himalayas, this area receives rainfall throughout the year which keeps the park lively and fresh.

Zoological Park at Chimpu in Papum Pare district attracts tourists for its variety of fauna. Different kinds of birds are also seen here which keep the bird enthusiasts glued to this park.
