Kodanad View Point that gives a splendid view of the great Mysore Plateau to one side and the picturesque 50 acre farming co-operative called Thengumarahada on the other side, is located at distance of 16 km from Kotagiri and it can be reached in 30 minutes by a vehicle. This view point itself looks like a green mosaic amidst the shrub land, from which arises the river Moyar.
