Mogli Land, Mount Abu

Not long ago, around 800 m above the Aarana Village in Mount Abu, relics of an old civilisation were found. A team of forest officers excavating the site found ancient pots and bricks. It was concluded that these relics were more than 1000 years old, and the site served as a resting place for travellers of that time.

Now, this site is being developed as a tourist spot. It would be called Mogli Land because of its resemblance to the forest that was depicted in Rudyard Kipling's famous book, The Jungle Book. The main character in the book was 'Mogli'.
