Mount Abu Weather

Mount Abu is referred as an 'oasis in the middle of a desert'. Being a hill station, Mount Abu experiences a cool and pleasant climate throughout the year.

Summer

During the summer season, the temperature in Mount Abu remains on the higher side, but still quite low when compared to the rest of Rajasthan. The maximum temperature reaches up to 36°C, while the average temperature remains around 19°C to 21°C. Tourists travelling to Mount Abu during the summer season are advised to carry loose fitting and light cotton clothes.

Monsoon

Even though it is located in the middle of a desert, Mount Abu receives a fair amount of rainfall during monsoons. The weather becomes cooler with an average high of 25°C and average low of 18°C. The precipitation remains between 550 mm to 600 mm of rainfall per month.

Winter

In the winter season, Mount Abu remains quite cold. During the months from November to February, the mercury lies between 12°C to 29°C. During the night, the weather conditions can be chilly, and temperatures can come down to the sub-zero level.
