Hari Market, a popular shopping area in the Jammu region, has been named after the erstwhile ruler of Jammu, Hari Singh. Hari Singh, the last king of Jammu & Kashmir is known among the people as the man responsible for the union of Jammu with India.

Tourists visit Hari Market for its dry fruits, Kashmiri handicrafts and Dogra jewelleries. Out of all the items, dry fruits are the most popular in Hari Market. Apart from dry fruits, dried mango peel, basmati rice, and rajma or kidney beans are extensively sold in this popular market.

This market is also known among people for barfi, a local milk sweetmeat. Other commonly sold items are hand-knitted carpets of wool, pashmina shawls and silk.
