Latest Update on Amer Fort

  • On August 23, 2025, a 200-foot portion of a historical wall within the Amer Fort complex, specifically the Dil-e-Aaram Bagh / Rambagh wall near the Jwala Mata Temple, gave way following prolonged heavy monsoon rainfall. The collapse took place along the pathway connecting the elephant stand to the palace. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries; however, some parked vehicles and motorcycles were affected by falling debris. In response, elephant rides have been temporarily halted, and access to certain routes and nearby areas has been limited due to compromised structural integrity.
