List of Three Express Trains has been Approved by the Ministry of Railways

The Ministry of Railways has approved three new weekly express trains connecting Telangana with Rajasthan and the northeastern states. These trains were earlier running as special services and have now been regularised for permanent operation. According to South Central Railway, the new services will start from July.

The three new trains are the Hyderabad-Jaipur Weekly Express, Charlapalli-Agartala Weekly Express, and Kacheguda-Sri Ganganagar Weekly Express. These trains are expected to improve long-distance rail connectivity between Telangana and important cities in North and Northeast India.

• The Hyderabad-Jaipur Weekly Express with train number 17079 will start from July 24. The train will leave Hyderabad every Friday at 7.50 p.m. The return service, train number 17080, will begin from Jaipur on July 26 and will depart every Sunday at 3.30 p.m. During the journey, the train will stop at important stations such as Secunderabad, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Nanded, Akola, Bhopal, Ujjain, Ratlam, and Ajmer before reaching Jaipur.

• Another important service is the Charlapalli-Agartala Weekly Express. Train number 17031 will start from Charlapalli on July 27 and will run every Monday at 4.20 p.m. The return train, number 17032, will start from Agartala on July 31 and depart every Friday at 5.30 a.m. This train will connect Telangana with several cities in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, and Tripura. Major stops include Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Bhubaneswar, Kharagpur, Guwahati, and New Haflong.

• The Railways also announced the Kacheguda-Sri Ganganagar Weekly Express. Train number 17061 will begin from Kacheguda on July 25 and run every Saturday at 10 p.m. The return train, number 17062, will start from Sri Ganganagar on July 28 and depart every Tuesday at 6.55 a.m. The train will pass through stations including Malkajgiri, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar, Nanded, Bhopal, Jaipur, Bikaner, and Suratgarh, providing direct rail connectivity between Telangana and Rajasthan.
