St. Catherine Falls, also known as Geddhehaada Halla, is located at a distance of 8 km from Coonoor. A two-step waterfall that pours down from 250 ft high mountain lands in the Long Wood Shola Forest of Kotagiri. This Shola forest and the wild terrain on its outskirt offer an adventurous trekking experience. Nevertheless, tourists have to get prior permission from the District Forest Officer (DFO) for trek through the Shola forest.
