The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is present right on the seashore, giving it a truly unique setting. The stunning sculptures as well as the lingam at the temple are worth seeing.

What To See And Do

The beach village of Byndoor has several legends associated with it. The place reportedly got its name from Saint Bindu who undertook a long and hard penance at Ottinene, a little hill close to the village.
