Chandrashekhar Azad Park in Allahabad

Chandrashekhar Azad Park is a public park in Allahabad. It is the biggest park in Allahabad with an area of 133 acres. Originally known as the Alfred par, it was renamed after the great freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad who sacrificed his life here during the independence struggle in 1931.

Guindy National Park in Chennai is one of the smallest National Park in India located in Chennai city of Tamil Nadu. The park has rich flora-fauna and the free flowing fauna live with the minimal of interference from human beings.

There are over 14 species of mammals and 350 species of plants inside the park. About one-sixth of the park has been left as open grassland to preserve that habitat for the endangered blackbucks.

The Guindy snake park is one of the major snake parks in India which is home to giant King Cobra, rock pythons, vipers and other reptiles.
