Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh

Parmarth Niketan is one of the largest ashrams in Rishikesh with more than one thousand rooms for pilgrims. Besides accommodation facilities, Parmarth Niketan offers ayurvedic treatments and music therapies. It is situated amidst the mighty Himalayas, on the banks of the river Ganga. This ashram was established by the great saint Pujya Swami Shukdevanandji Maharaj in 1942.

Every year, it is flocked by numerous tourists when the International Yoga Festival is organised. People in large numbers visit this ashram to learn yoga, meditation and other such practices. There is a school located in the complex that is administered by the ashram.
