Mansa Devi Temple is situated in the Panchkula District of Haryana, which is approximately 19 km away from Mohali. Dedicated to Goddess Mansa Devi, this famous Hindu shrine is counted amongst the most prominent Shakti temples in northern India. The temple of the residing deity was constructed by Maharaja Gopal Singh of Mani Majra during 1811-1815.
In 1840, another temple, called the Patiala Temple, was built at a distance of 200 m from the main temple by the then Maharaja Patiala, Karam Singh. Crowded by millions of devotees during the time of Navratras, this ancient temple is a must visit tourist spot near Mohali.
