Kal Bhairav Temple, Mirzapur

The Kal Bhairav Temple is an old temple located southwest of Vindhyachal city. It is dedicated to Shri Kaal Bhairav, also known as Kshetrapal, who is regarded as the guardian of the temple. The sites attract hordes of devotees during the religious festivals.

The Bhairav Kund or pond next to the temple is considered holy. The water is also believed to have medicinal properties and is much sought out by the visitors who believe in natural therapies.
