Rajuana as described by traveller Huen Tsang was an important place for Buddhists and was home to some Buddha Maths. The city was the capital of Indradaman, the last emperor of Pals. Rajauna has a distinct glorious past as evident by the ruins and evidences found. Rajauna village is known for the unique shivling, which is made of black stone.
