Darrah Wildlife Sanctuary was founded in the year 1955. In earlier times, the place served as the favourite hunting ground of the kings of Kota as the place was home to a number of rhinos, deer and tigers. At present, the sanctuary provides habitat to various species of animals including deer, sloth bears, wolves, antelopes, leopards and nilgai. Wolves and antelopes can be spotted here in large numbers.
