Rao Madho Singh Museum, Kota

Rao Madho Singh Museum is a key tourist attraction of Kota. It is named after the first king of Kota, Raja Madho Singh. It was a palace that was later converted into a museum. Specimens are displayed in a chronological manner in the museum. Everything in the museum is well preserved, hence, making it one of the best museums in Rajasthan.

Visitors can see beautiful paintings, ancient coins, silver utensils, manuscripts, sculptures, epigrams, idols, weapons and frescoes in the museum. Small paintings from the Kota School of Painting are also put on display here. The museum remains closed on government holidays and Fridays.
