Naganath Temple, Karwar

While on a trip to Karwar, tourists may also visit the Naganath Temple, where thousands of devotees worship an anthill. This site has been protected under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act of 1958. The Archaeological Survey of India has been given the responsibility for the maintenance of the Naganath Temple.
