Trekking in the snowy slopes of Kangra Valley offers an incredible experience to the visitors. There are many adventurous trekking routes in Kangra which lead to peaks, rock-cut temples and the Kareri Lake. Visitors can also trek from Kangra to the beautiful Chamba Valley.
Minkiani Pass and Laka Pass Trek, which is also known as Inderhara Trek, are the two most popular trekking routes of Kangra. These routes commence at Dharamshala and conclude at McLeod Ganj.
There are five other important trekking routes in the region, called Dharamshala-Talang Pass, Dharamshala-Laka Pass, McLeodganj-Minikiani Pass – Chamba, Baijnath-Parai Jot and Bhim Gasutri Pass.
