Pong Lake Sanctuary is a popular tourist destination located on the banks of the river Beas at a distance of 65 km from Pathankot in the Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh. Many animal species can be spotted in the sanctuary, including sambar, nilgai, barking deer, wild boar and leopard.

Around 220 species of migratory birds belonging to 54 families take shelter here. Pong Lake, which is home to at least 27 varieties of fish, is the main attraction of the sanctuary. The lake is surrounded by a dense cover of pine trees and hosts various water sports that attract a large number of tourists to this site.
