South Central Railway (SCR) has announced that it will operate special train services between Kakinada Town in Andhra Pradesh and Hisar in Haryana to help more passengers travel long distances comfortably. These special trains are being run because many people want to travel between these distant places, and regular trains alone weren't enough to meet the demand.

List of Trains to Operate
The special service includes Train No. 07705, which starts from Kakinada Town Railway Station early in the morning and travels all the way to Hisar Junction. This train covers a very long distance, around 2,700 km, and takes about 57-58 hours to complete the journey. The train stops at many stations on the way, so passengers from several cities and towns can board or get off, making it easier to travel across states. It runs with different types of coaches, including Sleeper class and AC coaches (First AC, Second AC, Third AC), giving travellers options depending on comfort and budget.
SCR has also arranged a return service (Train No. 07706) from Hisar back to Kakinada Town, giving passengers the flexibility to plan round-trip travel. These special services have been extended till March 2026 because many people are using them and there's still high demand for long-distance travel along this route.
Why are the Special Trains Beneficial?
Moreover, running these long-distance special trains helps the Indian Railways manage heavy passenger loads and gives more travel options at busy times when trains are fully booked. The special trains are part of SCR's efforts to improve connectivity between different regions of India and support travellers during peak seasons and special demand periods.
