Kalika Temple, Girnar

The Kalika Temple is mounted on Pavagarh, a peak on the Girnar Hills. It is a famous Hindu and Muslim pilgrimage centre. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali. The goddess in the temple has four arms. One of her hands holds a sword and the other holds the head of a demon. The other two hands are raised in blessing.

Devotees believe that the Goddess has immense power to grant their wishes. Pilgrims flourish to this place to get Kalika's blessings throughout the year.
