Catholic Church was built in 1891. Though the original building was damaged by the earthquake of 1897, later it was reconstructed. The church is also known by the name Holy Rosary Church. Fridays hold a special charm for the practitioners of the church and also the onlookers.
In addition to the splendid festivities of Christians in the month of December, another fair named “Anand Mela” is held on 7th October every year which is open to the public for participation.
