Nawal Sagar Lake, Bundi

Nawal Sagar is a man-made lake that is located at the centre of Bundi. The lake is clearly visible from the Taragarh Fort. The image of entire Bundi can be seen in the placid waters of this lake. The lake is square shaped and houses a small shrine of Lord Varuna. The shrine is partly submerged in the lake water and is surrounded by several baoris (step wells) from all sides.
