Bijolia, located at a distance of 48 km from Bundi on the Chittaurgarh road, served as the main centre of art and architecture during the Chauhan rule. The geographical location of Bijolia is such that one has to cross a plateau to reach this town.There are three temples at Bijolia which were built by the Chauhan rulers in the 13th century AD and are dedicated to Lord Shiva. A serene water tank is located near the temple area.
