Kera, which is about 22 km away from Bhuj towards its South consists of a shrine of Lord Shiva of the Solanki rulers' era. While a major part of the temple was destroyed during the 1819 earthquake, one-half of the temple, the sanctum sanctorum and the deity within still remain intact. Located next to it is the fort of Kapilkot, which also is in a dilapidated state now.
