Gandhi Park is dedicated to the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The park was developed by Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA). It is situated in front of the Swosti Plaza Hotel in Bhubaneswar. The park is famous for its beautiful lawns and attractive décor.
The park has a statue of Mahatma Gandhi seated in a prayer position. The attractiveness of the park is enhanced due to the placement of the statue. The park is ideal for jogging, walking, enjoying nature, breathing lungs of fresh air and relaxing in a calm atmosphere.
The park was established on a stretch of land that was earlier known as Janta Maidan. The landscape lawns, jogging tracks, fountains and lighting system add charm to the beauty of the place.
