Ravana is the prime villain in the epic Ramayana and he is actually worshipped at these temples in India. It is even said that Lord Brahma is the great grandfather of Ravana.
Interestingly, Ravana's effigies are not burnt during Dusshera Festival in these places. In many mythological stories, he is also depicted as a good king and a great devotee of Shiva. However, we can see different perspectives about Ravana's character from different sources.

Bisrakh is a village situated in Greater Noida of Uttar Pradesh. This village is believed to be the birthplace of Ravana.Interestingly, here villagers don't celebrate Dushera or Diwali by burning Ravana. Infact, they mourn the death of their beloved King.

Kakinada Ravana Temple
Kakinada is a coastal city in Andhra Pradesh. It is believed that Ravana chose this place to build a temple for Lord Shiva. Today, there is a big temple dedicated to Ravana in Kakinada. It is the only place in Andhra Pradesh where he is worshipped.
Vidisha (Ravangram)
Vidisha is believed to be Ravan's wife Mandodari's place; it is situated in Madhya Pradesh. There is also a village named Ravangram in Vidisha. People worship Ravana and seek his blessings during auspicious events.

Mandsaur Ravana Temple
Mandsaur is believed to be the place where Ravana and Madodari were married. It is one of the prominent Ravana temples in Madhya Pradesh. There is big statue of Ravana with ten heads in Mandsaur.

Mandore Ravan Temple
According to another story, Mandore in Jodhpur is the native place of Madodari (Ravan's wife). Ravana Temple here is one of the unique temples in Rajasthan.
Baijanath Temple
Baijanath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Baijanath is a town in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.
The people of Baijanath do not participate in Dusshera festivities because they respect Ravana's devotion to Shiva.
