Kankawari Fort, Sariska

Kankawari Fort, located inside the Sariska National Reserve in Rajasthan has great historic significance. This fort, though in ruins now, was once used by Emperor Aurangzeb for keeping his elder brother Prince Dara Shikoh in captivity. As the fort is situated on the top of a hill, it provides a panoramic view of the surrounding areas of the Tiger Reserve.
