Tankara is a place famous for various reasons. For being the birth place of social reformer and founder of Arya Samaj - Swami Dayananda Saraswathi, for the production of cotton and for the manufacturing of enticing silver imitation jewellery. The little town is located about 40 km ahead of Rajkot.
