Hingolgadh will interest wildlife enthusiasts. For, it is famous for a fascinating nature education sanctuary it houses within. With the sanctuary here boasting of a wide variety of flora and fauna, it was aptly declared as an Eco-education centre in the year 1984 and has been named by the Gujarat Ecological Education and Research Foundation as the Hingolgadh Nature Education Sanctuary.
It is home to a wide variety of reptiles and animals like the endangered Chinkara, wolf, bluebull, hyaena, porcupine and flying foxes, and birds like spotted dove, bulbul, woodpecker and others.
