Nicholas Reorich Art Gallery is one of most visited tourist destinations at Naggar. The famous art gallery, which is located at the Naggar Castle, derived its name from a well known painter, Nicholas Reorich, who came from Russia to India after the Bolshevik revolution in 1947. Various collections of Reorich and his son’s works can be seen in the art gallery.
Situated at a short distance of only 2 km from Naggar, the gallery can easily be reached from there. Reorich’s paintings depict the exotic landscape of the Himalayan Mountain ranges. It also exhibits portraits of well-known Russian painters as well as famous Indian personalities.
The Nicholas Reorich Art Gallery remains open to visitors from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm till 5 pm in the evening. A nominal fees of INR 10 is payable for entrance to the gallery.
