Manali Gompa, Manali

Manali Gompa, constructed during the 1960s, is a popular religious centre for Buddhists in Manali. Buddhists from different places such as Spiti, Ladakh, Kinnaur, Lahaul, Tibet and Nepal gather at this monastery on various occasions. The monastery is popular among travellers for its wall paintings, stupas and a large idol of Buddha.
