Sweth Ganga Of Bhamhini, Mahasamund

Sweth Ganga is situated in the village of Bhamhini which is 10 km from Mahasamund. A spring of water constantly flows from the pit into the river. A temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is situated nearby and is quite old.

A fair is held here during the month of Shravan, and a large number of devotees come here to take water from the spring to offer on the Shiva Lingam at Gandeshwar Mahadev temple. The groups of devotees are known as Kanwariyas.
