Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Kochi

Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, situated hardly 3 km away from Kochi, is the one and only gurudwara in Kerala. The gurudwara came into existence in Kerala in 1955, and as the name suggests it is a ‘gateway to Guru’ for the Sikh community in Kerala.

Originally, the gurudwara was constructed in the locality of the Cochin Shipyard and the present one was established in 1975. The gurudwara is construed in Mughal architectural styles, a blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture.

The Durbar Hall is where the prayers are conducted, and people from all walks of life visit here to offer prayers. Adding the gurudwara to your itinerary would be the best way to get a glimpse of the culture and hospitality of the Sikhs.
