Weather Updates for Bengaluru, Mysore and Other Districts in Karnataka for Dec 23-26

Karnataka is preparing for mixed weather conditions in the coming days, with light rainfall expected in some districts and dry weather in others. From December 23 to December 26, the state will experience varying levels of precipitation and significant temperature changes across regions. Residents should stay informed to plan their activities accordingly during this period.

Weather Updates for Bengaluru Mysore

Light showers are predicted for select districts between December 23 and December 26. On December 23, districts like Ramanagara, Chamarajanagara, Mandya, and Mysore will likely experience light rain. This pattern will extend to Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu, Hassan, and Shivamogga on December 24 and 25. On December 26, the rainfall is expected to reach districts such as Belgaum, Vijayapura, Dharwad, Gadag, and Chikkamagaluru. However, areas like Uttara Kannada and other parts of Interior Karnataka are forecasted to remain dry during this period.

In addition to the rainfall, Karnataka is also witnessing temperature variations across its regions. Coastal areas are generally warmer, with Honnavar and Karwar recording highs of 33.3 and 34.4 degrees Celsius, respectively. Shirali and Panambur also reported temperatures above 31 degrees Celsius. In contrast, inland districts like Bidar, Vijayapura, and Bagalkot displayed wider ranges. For example, Bagalkot recorded a high of 32.0 degrees Celsius, while Vijayapura had a cooler low of 14.0 degrees Celsius.

Bengaluru, the state's capital, has experienced cooler temperatures. The HAL area recorded a high of 27.0 degrees Celsius and a low of 19.5 degrees Celsius. The KIAL and GKVK areas were slightly cooler, with temperatures ranging from 27.1 to 16.8 degrees Celsius. Interestingly, the highest maximum temperature in the city was recorded at 27.8 degrees Celsius.

North Karnataka districts such as Dharwad, Gadag, Kalaburagi, and Haveri have also experienced fluctuations. Dharwad recorded temperatures between 29.2 and 16.4 degrees Celsius, while Gadag reached a high of 30.0 degrees Celsius. Kalaburagi saw a warmer high of 33.8 degrees Celsius, with lows above 16 degrees Celsius. Haveri displayed moderate temperatures ranging from 30.4 to 18.1 degrees Celsius.

With light rains expected in some areas and dry weather in others, this period marks a mix of climatic conditions for Karnataka. Residents are advised to stay updated on weather forecasts, especially those planning travel or outdoor activities. While the rains may bring relief from the warmer temperatures in some districts, other regions will continue to experience dry and warm conditions.
