Rail travelers in Rajasthan will soon enjoy a faster and more comfortable journey as Indian Railways introduces a new Vande Bharat train between Bikaner and Delhi. This new service will cut the travel time to just 6 hours and 20 minutes, saving passengers about one and a half hours from the current duration of 7 hours and 50 minutes. The Railway Board has released a provisional schedule for the train, bringing excitement among passengers.
Faster Travel with Fewer Stops
The new Vande Bharat train is designed to offer a smooth and quick journey between Bikaner and Delhi. According to the proposed schedule, the train will leave Bikaner at 5:55 am and reach Delhi by 12:15 pm. On the return trip, it will depart from Delhi at 4:30 pm and arrive in Bikaner at 10:50 pm.
Unlike other trains that make multiple stops, this service will have only one halt at Rewari station. With fewer stops, passengers can enjoy a hassle-free and quicker journey, making it a great choice for travelers.
Preparation for Operations and Maintenance
Before the train starts running, some important preparations need to be completed. One of the key requirements is setting up maintenance facilities at the Bikaner railway station. Currently, the station does not have the necessary infrastructure for servicing the Vande Bharat train. However, the Railway Board has given responsibility to the Bikaner division to ensure that basic maintenance can be handled.
Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, has confirmed that arrangements for maintenance services are being made. Once these preparations are completed, the train will be ready to begin operations.
