Sant Namdev Temple is situated in Bassi Pathana, which is 6 km away from the town of Fatehgarh Sahib. Dedicated to Sant Namdev, this temple has a strong religious following in the area. Sant Namdev lived in Maharashtra and came to Punjab during one of his trips. This place was previously known as Swami Namdev Ji Ka Dera.
The present day structure of the temple was built in the year 1925. Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of Sikhs, has included 61 of his holy hymns in it. This temple attracts a lot of devotees every year, especially during the three-day fair at the time of Basant Panchami.
