The Mohan Kumaramangalam Park was originally just a plain green patch of land which was eventually converted into a mini amusement park for kids. Today, this park is a great picnic spot and offers rides for the kids along with a few artificially created lakes where boating and other activities are conducted.
The Kumaramangalam park lakes are known for some of the most venomous snakes in the region.
