Mallinath Jain Tirth Kosbad Temple, Bordi

The Mallinath Jain Tirth Kosbad Temple is the biggest and largest temple among the twenty four Tirthankaras – 24 religious prophet stations in the Jain religion. It is situated in the region of Prabhadevi, within the village of Bordi.

According to Jainism, the Mallinath Jain Tirth Kosbad Temple is built in dedication to Lord Rishabh or Adinath. He was the first of the twenty four prophets revered and worshipped by Jain followers. Lord Mahavir – the founder of Jainism – is the twenty fourth prophet. The temple follows Jainism practices and is a wonder to watch.
