Kalimath Temple is a prominent stone temple located 3 km from the town of Yellapur and is counted amongst the major attractions of the town. Upon visiting this temple, devotees would observe numerous pillars that are embellished with unique carvings and inscriptions in Kannada language.
Built in the 12th century, the Kalimath Temple enshrines a Shiva Lingam (made up of soft stone) and a statue of Nandi.
