Harsiddhi Temple is a very special temple as it finds an important place in the temple town of Ujjain. The temple belongs to Devi Annapurna who is painted in a dark vermilion colour. The idol of Annapurna is seated between the idols of Devi Mahalakshmi and Devi Saraswati. The symbol power of shakti is known as Shri Yantra and this yantra is also enshrined in this temple.

The place shares a very special place in the Puranas, as the myth says that when Lord Shiva was carrying the body of Sati, her elbow dropped at this place. It was during the time when the Marathas were reigning the place, the temple has been reconstructed and hence, the special feature of Maratha art is visible among the two pillars decorated with lamps.

The temple has an ancient well in its premises and an artistic pillar that beautifies the top of the temple. The deity is considered to be very powerful by the locals.
