MLV Tribal Research Institute in Udaipur is engaged in research about the different tribal communities of Mewar. It has a museum, which exhibits tribal artefacts that throw light on the culture and life style of the tribes. There is a library as well, which has several writings on tribal life and issues. The institute remains open to visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. Entry is free.
