By Air: The nearest airport is Kozhikode International Airport which is situated at a distance of around 95 km from these beaches.
By Rail: There are direct trains available between Kannur and other nearby towns and cities. You can catch a train directly to Kannur railway station.
By Road: The twin beaches of Kizhunna Ezhara are easily accessible by road as they are located at a distance of around 11 km from the centre of the town.

However, if you are looking to enjoy the cooling effect of sun rays falling over the sparkling sand of these beaches, then it is advisable to avoid visiting these natural marvels during the summer season as the temperature may rise above average level and the humidity will certainly make noon time uncomfortable.
Therefore, the best time to visit these wonderful beaches is from August until the end of April when the climatic conditions are pleasant and cool.
