Cycling is a sport which is reviving and rejuvenating and cannot be replaced with any other sport. The wind hits your face, adrenaline rushes through your body and you can feel the strength in your muscles. That's not all, a single ride with the bike would help you clear your mind and refresh your body.

The city of dreams, Mumbai, is one of the best places to go cycling in. The city has plenty of tracks which take you through some of the best scenic viewpoints; most of these tracks pass through the old town which gives you the chance to not just do some sightseeing but also adds in a good exercise at the same time. One would come across a large variety of flora and fauna which gives you an opportunity to connect with nature as well.

Yeoor Hills

Yeoor Hills is located in Thane, in the territory of Sanjay Gandhi National Park. The hills is also called Mama Bhanja hills and attracts a large number of cyclists who love to pedal through uphill tracks.

The location is an ideal mountain biking trail and is also another entrance to the national park which is used only by professional trekkers and hikers. The hills have been declared as an eco-sensitive zone which gives it a rich greenery, less pollution and fresh air.

Sanjay Gandhi National Park

Sanjay Gandhi National Park

A 104 km sanctuary, which is a frequent spot for trekkers and biker from across the country is the Sanjay Gandhi National Park. The natural beauty and peacefulness of the place attracts visitors irrespective of the season; it is also home to the 2400-year-old Kanheri Caves which stand out from one of the cliffs here.

The place is also home to two beautiful lakes namely the Vihar and Tulsi, apart from which there are plenty of walking trials which let the morning and evening walkers breath in all the fresh air required.

The Portuguese Fishing Village

Located in Versova, the place would appear as if it is tailor-made for cycling expeditions. The tracks here pass through a number of fishing villages and mangroves that add on to the beauty and charm of the place.

With ruins of churches and cottages, the place would take you back in time as you proceed further uphill to Uttan Chowk which provides a bird's-eye view of the entire surroundings.

Marine Drive To Bombay Fort Area

The trial begins from CST to end at Sassoon Dock while passing through the Bombay Panjrapole, Marine Drive, Mumbadevi Temple and the Crawford Market.

The 3.5-km-long boulevard at the Marine drive is a concrete road which stretches along the attractive bay of Mumbai and culminates at the promenade which is beautified with well-planned planting of palm trees.
